Muralist known for brightening Phoenix streets paints the light rail

More from this show

We catch up with muralist Tato Caraveo from season one. He is known for his colorful murals that line downtown Phoenix streets. During the pandemic, Valley Metro asked him to create a mural for a downtown Phoenix light rail station. He created one featuring Chef Silvana that is located at a rail station and another has been wrapped around a light rail car that will travel all over the Phoenix metro area, bringing art to places that don’t often get a chance to see it.
