Illustrator Jon Arvizu on his work and weathering the pandemic

More from this show

Jon Arvizu is an illustrator, designer and printmaker. His portfolio includes commercial work for companies like Netflix, Frito Lay and Oregano’s Pizza Bistro. He and his wife, Jenn, also run High Jinks Apparel, a boutique in Scottsdale, that sells T-shirts, cards, clothing patches and face masks. He is currently working on a project for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

When COVID-19 started, everything came to a halt. Since then, Jon and Jenn have been creating custom designs and art that they print and produce entirely by hand. He explains how a commercial illustrator works and also shows off some of his work.
