La Niña a factor in Arizona’s warm fall weather

More from this show

Arizona is experiencing the warmest autumn on record, an occurrence climatologists believe is partially due to the patterns in tropical storms.

Randy Cerveny, a climatologist for Arizona State University, says Arizona’s hot, dry fall is a result of the movements of La Niña, and the state is seeing a drop in rain and mountain snow as a result of the storm.
