ASU research discusses psychological and social impact of family separations

Although the Trump administration has backed down from its policy that separated children from immigrant families there will still be psychological, social and health problems for those separated, and those problems are not easily solved with family reunification. Rebecca White, an associate professor of family and human development in the Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University, is among several contributors to a new report on dividing families at the U.S. border, and will discuss what she calls a “humanitarian crisis.”
