ASU researcher looks into how older adults are impacted by autism

Autism is mostly associated with children, but an Arizona State University researcher is studying how older adults are affected by the diagnosis. In partnership with the Barrow Neurological Institute and the Southwest Autism Research Center, ASU College of Health Solutions professor Blair Braden will spend the next four years studying the brain activity of adults with autism to understand the cognitive changes that occur in adulthood and identify what behaviors are the best predictors of age-related cognitive decline. Braden will discuss her first-of-its-kind study into autism.
