Study shows swimming lessons can make a child smarter

More from this show

An Australian study shows swimming lessons can make a child smarter. The theory is children who are in the water at a very young age develop enhanced verbal and physical skills, and their cognitive skills grow exponentially so that in many cases when they enter kindergarten they test at much higher grade levels. We visit a local swim school that took part in this study and whose students are reaping the benefits.
