Work requirement approved for Medicaid recipients in Arizona

By the start of next year, certain able-bodied recipients of Medicaid in Arizona will have to work or volunteer in order to keep receiving benefits from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System. That was approved by the federal government, but a five-year limit on benefits was not approved.
