What the drought contingency plan means for Arizona Native communities

Seven states including Arizona have already agreed to the drought contingency plan after months of negotiations between local, federal and tribal leaders. Arizona’s tribal leaders have long said the state’s indigenous nations could make or break the multi-state drought plan. For the tribes, their fight for water started long ago. Cronkite news reporter Lillian Donahue tells us about the key role tribes have had in negotiations.
