Efforts to help low-income people and the homeless survive the heat

There is a city-wide effort going on in Phoenix to help the homeless and low-income communities survive brutal temperatures that are expected to hit above 110 degrees over the next few days. Volunteers will be distributing water, information on cooling centers and heat safety information.  Ted Hentschke of Americorps Vista with the city of Phoenix and Michelle Litwin, with the city of Phoenix tell us more about the program.
