State Supreme Court rules on Anti-Discrimination Ordinance

The Arizona Supreme Court ruled this morning that it would be unconstitutional for the city of Phoenix to force private businesses to make wedding invitations for same-sex weddings.

Brush and Nib studio, which creates wedding invitations and other favors, argued that the ordinance violated their religious beliefs by forcing them to make products for same-sex marriage ceremonies. ASU Law Professor Paul Bender from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law shares the impact of that decision.
