College athlete compensation

More from this show

California just passed a law that will allow college athlete to get paid through endorsements and also to hire agents. The law does not take effect for a few years and is likely to be challenged in court. Governor Doug Ducey has talked about a similar law for Arizona. We talk more about the issue with Don Gibson, a professor of practice at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law from the Allan H. “Bud” Selig Sports Law and Business Program.
