Supreme Court expands LGBTQ protections in landmark decision

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that federal civil rights laws protects LGBTQ workers and thus, employers cannot discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. The 6-3 ruling surprised many, considering the makeup of the court. We got reaction to the decision from Alessandra Navidad of ACLU Arizona and Jeremy Helfgot of Phoenix Pride.
