An investigation into the juvenile justice system

More from this show

We’re highlighting reports from ASU’s Carnegie-Knight News21 Program and its investigation into the juvenile justice system. One of which is about two young people who were able to leave the gang life behind. Ruben Saldaña and Lucero Herrera were involved in gangs from a young age. But Saldaña turned his life around and now runs a free MMA program for young kids to keep them out of gangs. Herrera turned her life around through theater and working with kids.
