Former police captain talks about upcoming crime fiction novel

Retired police captain Isabella Maldonado is set to release her third novel, a crime fiction that takes place in Phoenix.

“Phoenix Burning” is the second in Maldonado’s series about homicide detective Veranda Cruz, and follows the detective as she takes on a dangerous drug cartel.  The book is available for pre-order and will be released on March 8.
