February is Black History Month, a federally recognized celebration of African Americans in U.S. history.
“The Great Migration: Indiscernibles in Arizona” is an exhibit featuring a look at Arizona’s part in the migration of African Americans from the rural South to the cities of the North, Midwest, and West from 1915-1970. Clottee Hammons, local artist and curator talks about the exhibition.
