Ace Atkins resides in Oxford, Miss.

Before becoming the New York Times best-selling author of 19 novels, Atkins worked as a newspaper reporter.

He also wrote for several national magazines and was an SEC football player.

Atkins has been nominated for numerous awards in crime fiction.

He took over Robert B. Parker’s Spenser series at the request of Parker’s family and publisher after the author died in 2010.
