Julia Wallace, who has deep experience in broadcasting, print and online journalism, is the interim general manager of Arizona PBS. Known for her expertise in industry leadership, digital transformation and change leadership, she is the Frank Russell chair and a professor of practice at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She served as market vice president for Cox Media Group Ohio, with responsibility for WHIO-TV, the top-rated CBS affiliate in the country, as well as three radio stations and three newspapers. She is also the former executive editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and former managing editor of USA Today. She is the co-author of “There’s No Crying in Newsrooms: What Women Have Learned about What It Takes to Lead.”
