The funds raised through this annual campaign have a significant impact on the organization’s ability to provide meals to those in need during the holiday season and beyond. Over the course of the program’s existence\, Barro’s Pizza has raised an astounding $2.5 million\, equivalent to 12.5 million meals.

DESCRIPTION:Buck-N Rodeo Grounds at Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler is featuring top PRCA bull riders as they take on elite bucking bulls during two high-intensity nights of nonstop professional bull riding. Saturday includes a bull rider meet-and-greet from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. and an after-party concert at Wild Horse Pass at 9:30 p.m. \nTickets start at $30; discounts available for kids\, military and GRIC members. \nThe event will feature 35 of the top bull riders in the world\, including champions Stetson Wright and Ky Hamilton\, matched up against 35 elite bucking bulls in the opening round. The eight highest scores will advance to the championship round\, where riders face off against the fiercest bulls in the sport for the Xtreme Bulls title.  \nAttendees can expect world-class competition with scores regularly pushing into the high 90s.  \nThe rider lineup includes reigning champions and rising stars\, alongside legendary bulls known for delivering explosive performances. DESCRIPTION:Swim Across America Launches Inaugural Pool Swim for Greater Phoenix Area on May 30\, 2026\nCommunity Charity Swim at Skyline Aquatic Center in Mesa to Benefit Mayo Clinic \nSwim Across America\, the nonprofit organization that makes waves to fight cancer by holding charity swims across the nation\, will host the inaugural Swim Across America – Phoenix Pool Swim on Saturday\, May 30\, 2026\, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.\, at Skyline Aquatic Center\, 845 S. Crismon Road\, in Mesa. The community charity swim welcomes swimmers of all ages and skill levels who are passionate about diving in to fight cancer\, with proceeds benefitting cancer research at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Participants may choose from a 1/2-mile swim\, a 1-mile swim or a fun Team Relay; for those unable to participate in person\, a virtual SAA My Way option is also available. In its first year\, the event aims to raise $60\,000 to support cancer research and care in the Phoenix community. For registration and volunteer opportunities\, or to support the swim with a tax-deductible donation\, visit swimacrossamerica.org/phoenix. \nNationally\, Swim Across America has raised more than $150 million for cancer research since its founding in 1987\, supporting critical funding for clinical trials that has led to FDA-approved cancer immunotherapy treatments.
