DESCRIPTION:Join the Annual Homeschool Appreciation Day at Vulture City Ghost Town! It is a full-day of educational adventure open to all families and curious minds\, blending self-paced historical exploration\, hands-on learning\, live entertainment\, and desert wildlife education at one of Arizona’s most iconic ghost towns. \nFamilies and visitors of all backgrounds are invited to explore over 16 original 1800s buildings\, including the assay office\, blacksmith shop\, brothel\, cookhouse\, and the infamous Hanging Tree\, discovering the stories\, artifacts\, and frontier ingenuity that defined the gold-rush era. \nWhat is included:\n• Live blacksmithing demonstrations\n• Interactive gold-panning station where everyone can try their hand at “striking it rich”\n• Performances by the Wickenburg Marshals\, bringing the Old West to life with family-friendly skits and photo ops\n• Arizona Game and; Fish on-site with live desert animals and wildlife education stations\n• Local food trucks serving lunch\, snacks\, and treats\n• Shaded picnic and rest areas for breaks and socializing \nThis special event is our way of saying thank you to homeschool families while welcoming every guest to learn\, play\, and explore. \nHighlights:\nOld West Fashion Show\nSaturday at 12:00 PM\nSee how men and women dressed in frontier times with this lively\, crowd-pleasing show! \nCheck in details:\n– Reservations not required\n– Leashed Dogs Welcome
