Water vapor discovered in exoplanet’s atmosphere

Astronomers for the first time have detected water vapor in the atmosphere of another planet. Using sunlight passing through the atmosphere of an exoplanet and picked up by the Hubble telescope, the researchers were also able to detect helium and hydrogen on the planet that is in the right temperature zone to have liquid water. We hear more from Michael Line, an extrasolar planetologist in the Arizona State University School of Earth and Space Exploration.
