Ways to Volunteer
Volunteers assist staff and act as greeters and hosts to represent Arizona PBS at social, fundraising and education events held throughout the year, including at Arizona PBS KIDS Day and the ASU Open Door event on the Downtown Phoenix Campus.
Volunteers assist with stuffing and mailing letters, data entry, answering phones and various office work requested by Arizona PBS staff.
We welcome groups to join us during our large station events. Usually, we ask a group to provide 10-15 volunteers for shifts. It is a great team-building experience and an excellent way to support your community.
The Volunteer Friends of Arizona PBS are dedicated community volunteers with diverse cultural, economic, and work backgrounds. They assist Arizona PBS with their time, talent and service. The Volunteer Friends are committed to the support and growth of the station, and are a vital part of fundraising and outreach activities.
With advances in technology, Arizona PBS will use national call systems to support quarterly on-air pledge breaks. Occasionally, there may be need for pledge volunteer phone support due to special guests and programming.
