8 PM: Role and History of the Vice President

More from this show

The vice president of the United States is sometimes viewed being an accessory, but that person is one step away from running the country. Following the debate between Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine, we’ll discuss the role and history of the vice president with Brooks Simpson, an Arizona State University Foundation professor of history and a presidential historian, and constitutional expert Robert McWhirter.
