Dr. Rafael Fonseca, Associate Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, was recently appointed Adjunct Investigator at TGen. Dr. Fonseca’s research specialty is multiple myeloma, the second most prevalent form of blood cancer. HORIZONTE reports on the relationship between the Mayo Clinic and TGen and how the Human Genome Project will aid his efforts. Finally, Dr. Fonseca will discuss his role in the research collaboration between TGen, the Mayo Clinic, and the Consortium for the Institute of Genomic Medicine in Mexico (INMEGEN).
