“Well, she is I guess what I would describe as the quintessential scholar if you will. This is an individual that is a leader in her field; a field with many brilliant people and she stands out among them. This is quantitative psychology and also health psychology. She mixes these two things. But in particular as a quantitative psychologist, there are few people that are her peer. She is an intellectual leader for that area. I think that she’s in many ways someone that the field looks to in order to determine where it’s going and how it’s going to get there … It’s really clear that internationally, not just nationally but internationally, she’s one of the most respected people in her field. ”
