Student Activism

More from this show

Arizona’s new immigration law has sparked a rise in student activism. In April, nine college students chained themselves to the Arizona State Capitol building to protest SB 1070. The charges against all the students were later dropped. Gregorio Montes de Oca and Justine Garcia, two of the students involved in the protest talk about what motivated them to do it.
