In his new book, “Leaders: Myth and Reality,” McChrystal profiles pairs of leaders from diverse eras and fields, showing that leaders often use dramatically different tactics to achieve similar results. He also discusses his changed understanding and reassessment of the leadership of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.
