Tucson’s First Latina Mayor

Tucson made history this week as voters elected their first Latina mayor, Regina Romero will be the first woman to lead Arizona’s second largest city.
The last Hispanic mayor of Tucson, Estevan Ochoa, was elected in 1875. Voters also rejected proposition 205, an initiative that would have made Tucson Arizona’s first sanctuary city. Arizona Republic Reporter Andrew Oxford joins us to discuss what this means for the city.
