Labor Day marathon: Both seasons of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’

Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Need a restful Labor Day weekend? Return to rural Yorkshire in the 1930s for a marathon of both seasons of “Masterpiece” fan-favorite “All Creatures Great and Small.” One of PBS’s biggest hits of 2021, the series captivated viewers with its quirky humor, lovable characters and heartwarming stories.

On Saturday, follow James Herriot’s adventures as a veterinarian in 1930s Yorkshire in the seven episodes of Season 1. Exciting newcomer Nicholas Ralph makes his television debut as the iconic vet who became renowned for his inspiring humor, compassion and love of life.

On Sunday, we move into Season 2: James returns from Glasgow, where he has been visiting his parents
for Easter. While there, he is offered a job at a modern local veterinary practice and must decide between staying home in Glasgow with his elderly parents or returning to his new life in Yorkshire.

Looking ahead, Season 3 of “All Creatures” will debut on Arizona PBS in January 2023!
