Phoenix’s Desert Botanical Garden is celebrating its 80th anniversary. The garden opened up in 1939, and now has 50,000 plants on 147 acres, 4,000 of which are native to the area. We hear more about the history and mission of the Desert Botanical Garden from executive director Ken Schutz.
