20-year study shows innovative exercise program still paying benefits

More from this show

In the early 90s, an exercise program called Conceptual Physical Education was implemented at Mountain Pointe High School in Tempe. The program uses a classroom component and a textbook in addition to physical exercise. The study followed the students who took part in the innovative program and found that half of those who took part in the study still use the information and remember the course content 20 years later. We’ll hear more about the program from one of its developers, Arizona State University College of Health Solutions professor Chuck Corbin.
