Carnegie-Knight News21

More from this show

Carnegie-Knight News21 is a national program that is headquartered at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. It brings together top journalism students from across the country to produce in-depth, multimedia projects for major media outlets. This year journalists took an in-depth look at natural disasters around the country.  We talk with Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Jacquee Petchel, the executive editor of News 21, and two student journalists who worked on the investigation, Jordan Elder and McKenzie Pavacich.

Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Jacquee Petchel. She will tell us more about News21 and we will view one of their reports. We’ll also hear from New21 student journalists Jordan Elder and  McKenzie Pavacich.
