Use food to heal yourself following Dr. Fuhrman’s roadmap

Filled with the latest science and research about the healing power of food and ways to stay healthy, “Dr. Fuhrman’s Food as Medicine” provides viewers a roadmap for adding practical, easy-to-follow steps to help prevent disease and improve health. The special premiers on Wednesday, Mar. 4 at 7 p.m.

Some of Dr. Fuhrman’s suggestions include looking for the most nutrient-dense foods possible, eat a salad as your main dish every day, prepare a big pot of vegetable soup in advance, and follow his G-BOMBS: greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries and seeds.

For over 25 years, Dr. Fuhrman has shown that it is possible to achieve sustainable weight loss and reverse heart disease, diabetes and many other illnesses using smart nutrition.
