Join Arizona PBS as we welcome Daniel Tiger at Thrive to 5 Playfest on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for Be My Neighbor Day at the Arizona State Fairgrounds.

Daniel Tiger and Katerina with friends at Thrive to 5 Playfest 2024.

Inspired by the themes of the PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, this family event invites kids to learn what it means to be a caring neighbor through fun and enriching activities.

For details, view the event flyer here in English or Spanish. All attendees must have a ticket to enter, but use code THRIVE25SPARTNER to attend for FREE! Reserve your tickets today.

New this year: If you have a child under the age of 3 or with special needs, we invite you to join us at 8:30 a.m. for a limited attendance and quieter experience. Feel free to stay beyond 9:30 a.m., but at that time our attendance will increase and stage entertainment will begin.

Daniel Tiger will be available for a fun meet-and-greet too!

We’ll see you Saturday, March 15 for Be My Neighbor Day at Thrive to 5 Playfest. View directions here.

Arizona PBS KIDS is encouraging kindness throughout the community!

Kindness is contagious! Our Education and Community Impact team is hosting a “Give Back to the Community” donation box for Sojourner Center, a domestic violence shelter for families. We’re collecting NEW linens for the center, which could mean twin bed sheets [twin only], pillowcases or towels for families. Bring donations to our Arizona PBS studios 5th floor lobby [directions here], and drop them in the donation box, or bring new linens on the day of the event.

And be sure to visit the Arizona PBS booth to create a thank you card for Sojourner Center families and share messages of support and hope in our community.

Who do you want to say thank you to? Download the Be My Neighbor Day Kindness Activity Booklet, which includes a thank you card to color and personalize for the special people in your life.

Enjoy all the Daniel Tiger fun we have planned, and visit this past Family Night page for more tiger-tastic activities!
