Psyche Mission: First to Metal, An Origin Story

Friday, July 19 at 4 p.m.

NASA and Arizona State University scientists are sending a spacecraft to the strange asteroid Psyche, which they believe may be a mostly metal core of an object from our early solar system.

This special program reveals the cameras and other instruments on the spacecraft, as well as the personal and scientific challenges the team has faced getting the mission to the launch pad.

Tune in Friday, July 19 at 4 p.m. or stream the special online on Arizona PBS, and explore the ins and outs of the Psyche mission just in time for Space Exploration Day on July 20!
