Pope Francis’ funeral proceedings at St. Peter’s Basilica will stream live beginning at 4:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Additional coverage will be featured on PBS News Weekend Saturday evening. That evening, anchor John Yang will interview John L. Allen Jr., editor of the independent news site Crux and president of Crux Catholic Media Inc.
Coverage across broadcast and digital platforms will include reporting from special correspondent Malcolm Brabant in Rome. Brabant has covered the events leading up to the funeral all week.
