Tuesday, August 19 at 11:30 p.m.

Energy and climate are intertwined, two of the most important topics in the world today, yet viewers know little about them. “Energy Switch” aims to change that by bringing together two renowned experts from government, NGOs, academia or industry with differing perspectives on vital energy and climate topics. These lively discussions are moderated by renowned energy scientist and communicator Dr. Scott Tinker.

“Energy Switch” is produced, written and directed by Emmy®-winning documentary filmmaker Harry Lynch, creator of the celebrated PBS series “Great Performances: Now Hear This” and “Stories of the Mind.”

In this episode, we review hydroelectric power and the state of the industry in the U.S. and Canada.
