‘Working Forward,’ parts 3 and 4

Monday, September 8 at 9 and 9:30 p.m.

“Working Forward” goes beyond headlines to uncover the human experiences shaping the future of work.

“Working Forward: The Path Home” at 9 p.m.

At 9 p.m. on “Working Forward,” military Veterans in Arizona, especially former combat medics, face a tough transition to civilian health care roles. Many struggle and find limited support, even as they bring critical skills and experience, given Arizona’s statewide shortage of healthcare workers. Host Kathleen Bade and guests discuss health care training programs tailored for former medics.

“Working Forward: Unregulated” at 9:30 p.m.

Then at 9:30 p.m., Arizona workers often face confusing, costly and unclear credentialing options when pursuing certifications through trade schools or tech bootcamps. Navigating these choices can be overwhelming. Bade sits down with guests to dive into clear, credible certification pathways to help workers gain relevant skills, potential jobs and ensure long-term career success.
