ASU football coach discusses upcoming season

More from this show

As the sports world continues to respond to issues of social injustice, some athletes still face challenges of racism. ASU head football coach, Herm Edwards, joined us to discuss how the upcoming season might look different due to COVID-19.

Currently, the program is taking the necessary precautions to keep their players and staff safe and healthy during this time. These precautions range from temperature checks to practicing in groups of 10.

The PAC-12 announced Friday that teams will play a conference-only schedule. This decision coming at a time where the country is facing a continued rise of COVID-19 cases. While many fans do hope for the return of football, Edwards reaffirmed that they are going to do whatever it takes to play in the fall.
