Trump allies face charges in Arizona’s “fake electors” case

The legal aftermath of the 2020 presidential election continues to reverberate in Arizona, where several allies of former President Donald Trump have been charged in connection with the “fake electors” scheme. These individuals are accused of attempting to overturn the certified election results in Arizona, leading to serious charges including fraud, forgery and conspiracy. Despite the gravity of the allegations, all those indicted have pled not guilty.
The case, which has captured national attention, is currently under the scrutiny of Arizona Superior Court Judge Bruce Cohen, who has recently heard motions, including requests to dismiss the case.
