High school musicians use jazz to build self-esteem, trust and comradery

Learning to trust your gut is an important lesson at any age. With this jazz improvisation class, high school musicians learn to lean into their feelings and trust their musical guts. We hear from the student-musicians about gaining confidence and finding a rhythm and their teacher explains why this class is so much more than just about music—it build self-esteem, self-trust and comradery.
