Corinne Cain acquired her senior designation in Fine Arts from the American Society of Appraisers in 1982. In 1987, she earned her senior designation in American Indian Arts from the American Society of Appraisers, having written the exam for that discipline. She was awarded her Certified Appraiser of Personal Property designation from the International Society of Appraisers in Limited Edition Prints in 1993. Cain’s academic credentials include a BFA in Painting & Drawing (1974, Arizona State University), an MFA in Arts Administration and an MBA in Finance (1976, Southern Methodist University).
Cain has directed several art galleries, served as a paid art critic for a weekly newspaper, developed a marketing program for a major auction house and curated several private art collections as well as a few corporate art collections. She has focused extensively on art conservation. In 1999 SavvyCollector.com, an online art brokerage was established to assist those wishing to consign art for resale purposes.
Terry Gibbs has been buying and selling collectible trains and toys since he was in grade school. Over the past 40 years he has built a large collection by buying everything he could find, and keeping what he liked.
In 1998, Gibbs started teaching others his methods of finding toy trains. Within a few years, he widened his focus to teaching strategies for buying and selling all types of collectibles.
Gibbs teaches people how to run profitable home based antiques and collectibles businesses. His strategies are used by thousands of collectors, dealers and eBay sellers all over the world to profitably find and buy antiques and collectibles. He also writes a regular newsletter about Antiques, Collectibles and eBay.
Garrett R. Goldfield
Garrett Goldfield is an accredited senior appraiser in San Diego. Accredited in fine art and residential contents from the American Society of Appraisers, he is one of only three appraisers with this double accreditation in California and only one of nine in the U.S. Garrett received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his Certificate in Appraisal Studies of Fine and Decorative Arts from the University of California, Irvine. Garrett was raised in the professional appraisal field by his family who were actively involved in the antiques and art fields. Garrett’s mother Betty Goldfield is an accredited senior appraiser in residential contents who heads Goldfield Appraisals Scottsdale office and his father and uncle operated Goldfield Galleries in Beverly Hills for over 30 years.
Garrett has been president of the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers twice and worked at Bonham’s & Butterfield’s Auction House as their San Diego and Palm Springs Representative. He is also the current president and founding member of The Art Services Network. Garrett has written many articles on collecting and art markets and he is currently on a team that is creating a web-based appraisal tool to bring uniformity and consistency to the appraisal field.
Garrett has had the opportunity to provide appraisals for notable celebrities, politicians and members of the Fortune 500. He serves as an expert witness to the legal system and appraises for several San Diego area museums. G. Amory LeCuyer
G. Amory LeCuyer is the owner of Hampton House, Virginia’s finest auction company. He is an Auctioneer and Senior Appraiser, with a diversified background that has led to the creation of the largest group of appraisers for personal property in the state. Fine art, coin and currency, antiques, decorative arts, firearms, and antique toys are only some of the areas that Amory’s group and expertise has touched on for their clients. Craig A. Lynch
Craig A. Lynch G.G. Is the owner of Ouellet & Lynch a independent gem and jewelry appraisal firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Lynch has been in the jewelry business since 1976 and is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. Lynch has served several terms as a board member of the Accredited Gemologist Association and is the immediate past President of the Arizona Jewelers Association.
In 2002, he was selected to document and value all of the jewelry recovered from the shipwreck the RMS Titanic. He has made numerous television appearances, locally in Arizona and nationally as a consumer advocate about gems and jewelry. He is the author of several published articles and the book “Is That Really A Ruby?”
Since 2009, he serves as the independent gemological consultant/appraiser to world renowned “Somewhere in the Rainbow Collection TM” and is an education consultant to Jewelry Television (JTV) Knoxville, Tennessee.

Modena is a graduate of the International Society of Appraisers. His studies included ethics, identification and authentication, research, legal aspects of appraising, expert witness and IRS report writing. He also has more than 40 years of experience as a collector/dealer specializing in firearms and other militaria. He is a graduate of Ball State University, with a B.S. in finance.
Sean Morton was born in Phoenix, and he and his wile reside in Tempe. Morton grew up around antiques and studied fine art at Arizona State University which laid the foundation for his later career as an art and antique appraiser. He also assists clients as an independent auction representative.
He is the former director of C.G. Galleries in Minneapolis and Houston. He managed an antique store on Main Street in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is a member of the Antique Appraisal Association of America.
Richard Murian is the founder and proprietor of Alcuin Books and Autographs which initially was founded in 1979 in California but has been in Arizona since 1985. After acquiring his B.A. in history with a minor in philosophy at the University of California, Davis, he began selling books to university libraries in 1970. He then acquired his MLS at the University of California, Berkeley, and served as a specialist in rare and out-of-print books at CSU, Sacramento where he also obtained his M.A. in California History and the West with his thesis: “Books, Booksellers and Libraries of the California Gold Rush, 1849-1862.” In addition, he has an M. Div from Trinity Seminary. His earlier graduate study was in Greek and Hebrew manuscripts including papyri, Renaissance Humanism and the Reformation and the History of the Book. He also gave lectures at UC Davis on Biblical History and the Reformation and at CSU, Sacramento on “The Messianic Concept in the Old Testament and Rabbinic Literature.”
Besides selling books, autographs and manuscripts, he has conducted appraisals for the FBI, Barry Goldwater’s political letters and photographs, and completed over 300 formal written appraisals for charitable, estate, insurance and other purposes. He was expert witness for the government on the stolen Arizona documents relating to the capture of Geronimo as well as an important Judge Roy Bean letter.
Besides giving the “Lure of the Book” lecture for Blue Cross-Blue Shield in a four part series on books and manuscripts, he has given lectures on book collecting both in Arizona and California. His articles on the book trade have appeared in AB Bookman’s Weekly. He is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America and is listed both in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
Robert L. Nelson received his Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming. He has been a collector of and dealer in antique firearms, fine art, cowboy and Indian collectibles since 1960. He is a member of the Wyoming and American Bar Associations, a life member of The National Bit and Spur Association, The National Rifle Association, the U.S. Cavalry Association, The Antique Tribal Art Dealers Association, and is a current member of the Board of Directors of The Nelson Museum of the West in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The Galleries deal primarily in collector’s quality and cutting edge Southwest art. Robert personally buys and sells high end paintings, Cowboy, Native American, antique firearms and military collectibles.
Palace Jewelers in Santa Fe was founded by him in 2011 and handles quality Native and fine jewelry.
He is the founder and CEO of the 501(c)(3) Nelson Museum of the West and the Military Memorial Museum. The Museum located in Cheyenne Wyoming has been open to the public since 1998.

A Wyoming native, Charla Nelson has always been a lover of all things “horsey” and Western. Together with her husband, Bob, they own and successfully operate seven businesses between Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Bob founded Manitou Galleries in Cheyenne in 1975 and Charla currently manages that location, as well as serving as a Board Member and Chairman of the Scholarship Committee of The Nelson Museum of the West/Military Memorial Museum, also located in Cheyenne.
Together, they expanded Manitou Galleries to Santa Fe in 2001 and currently have two retail gallery locations and a jewelry store there. They also conduct two major auctions per year, March in Montana and Auction in Santa Fe. She and Bob serve co-actively as the primary contacts for collections, estates and single items for the thousands of items offered to them in the course of each year. With 15 years of experience under her belt, she also provides insurance and market appraisal services for private collectors.
Bo R. Patrick
Born and raised in Phoenix, being a third generation native, Bo Patrick grew up around antiques. Following his father’s footsteps, he started working at the auction house at the age of five. Being only the sales slip runner up until the age of 14. He then started to take the stand and became the ring man of the auction with his father calling the sale. Not soon after, he was handed the mic and became a full-fledged auctioneer right then and there. At 19, Patrick flew off to Las Vegas and he began to study for his appraisers license, still continuing his education every year. Thereafter starting his company Appraisals Phoenix & Estates, LLC. 9 years later he has taken his business to a full estate service company. Serving attorneys, fiduciaries, executors, the Arizona Department of Revenue and many more clients. Specializing in Appraising, Estate Liquidations and Real Estate for clients down sizing or that have past.
His passion is mid-century and art glass although Patrick is a generalist when it comes to personal property.
Karen S. Rabe
Karen S. Rabe was a dealer in antiques prior to 1987 at which time she founded my appraisal practice. She specializes in the appraisal of antiques, collectibles, and residential contents as a generalist knowledgeable in furniture, glass, ceramics, metals, silver and textiles. She has studied decorative arts, fine art and antiques at major museums internationally and in the USA including the Louvre in Paris, Winterthur and the Victoria and Albert in London.
Rabe has been actively involved with the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), one of the foremost appraisal credentialing Societies in the world. I am one of less than 200 ISA members which is a “Certified Member”. She is a member the Board of Directors of the International Society of Appraisers and past instructor of the Antiques and Residential Contents course which is required for ISA certification.
Laurie Petrie Rogers
Laurie Petrie Rogers, has been involved in the field of Asian Studies since the 1970s and holds a B.A. in History-Asian Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts degree in Regional Studies East Asia from Harvard University. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and well versed in written Japanese. In the early 1980s, Rogers resided in Asia where she marketed computers for Wang Laboratories.
A fourth generation native, Rogers returned to Arizona in 1987 to establish an Asian art gallery in Scottsdale. She and her husband, Waynor Rogers, now operate the Petrie-Rogers Gallery by Internet and appointment at their 1100-square-foot gallery in the Tucson foothills. Their focus is on the arts of China, Japan, and Korea, with special expertise in ceramics, cloisonné, and Japanese woodblock prints,
While operating the gallery, Laurie also spent 10 years teaching Chinese and Japanese history at Pima Community College in Tucson and at ASU. Rogers has lectured on numerous occasions at the Phoenix Art Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, and ASU. She co-edited Carl Schraubstadter and Japanese Prints: The Robert Louis Mueller Family Collection, published by the Herberger College of the Arts, Arizona State University, 2007. In 2012 and 2013, Rogers consulted to the Denison College Art Museum in Ohio on their Asian holdings.
Kateri M. Weiss
In January 1960, Weiss began what has become a lifetime vocation of restoring and preserving the personal adornment of indigenous people. This evolution of her early passion for and studies of ancient cultures is the fruition of apprenticeship awards and scholarships, which included the De Waters Art Center, Interlochen fine Arts Academy and the University of Ann Arbor in Michigan. It was during her time with these institutions that Weiss sold her artwork and jewelry through galleries in Detroit and Chicago.
In 1971, Weiss made Phoenix her home. Working with Charles Loloma, a generous teacher, and Jon Bonnell of the White Hogan, who became a friend, her focus turned to Southwestern cultures.
She has proficiency in other art forms led to commissions and illustrative work for numerous publications, including The Arizona Republic, Phoenix Magazine and Arizona Highways.
Years of restoration experience segued into appraisal consultation and expert witness work. In 2010, Weiss was invited to teach a comprehensive class in Native American Personal Adornment at the Rhode Island School of Design. The course was part of a seminar for appraisers seeking specialty certification in this field.
Her lifetime goal is the “preservation for sharing” of these most intimate links to our past. It is in the utilitarian and ornamental wearable objects created by our ancestors that we receive the clearest vision of who they were, and who we are.
Blake Wilson is one of approximately 50 Certified Rug Appraisers in the U.S. with Oriental Rug Retailers of America. ORRA is the only national organization working to promote ethical practices in the Oriental rug business and administering certification exams for rug appraisers.
Blake is co-owner of The Art Bank and Oriental Rug Center, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has been buying and selling historic fine art, antiques and hand-knotted Oriental Rugs from around the world for over 30 years. He has traveled for research and buying to countries including Iran, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Tibet, Turkey, India, Morocco, China and much of Europe.
In addition to his expertise in Oriental Rugs, Blake deals in Native American art and historic American fine art. He has served on many non-profit boards including museums, arts organizations and land trusts.
