Ted Simons, host and managing editor of “Arizona Horizon,” moderated a debate with two candidates running for Maricopa County Attorney.

Republican incumbent Rachell Mitchell and Democrat Tamika Wooten joined Simons to debate important issues.

The County Attorney serves as the chief prosecutor in Maricopa County, the fourth largest county in the U.S.

Mitchell is running for her first full term after the county Board of Supervisors appointed Mitchell in March 2022, replacing Allister Adel who resigned due to health issues.

Wooten is a pro tem judge who has also worked as a defense attorney.
