Earn the Bird 5K, Kids Fun Run
What’s better than going for a run? Running for a purpose!
Join McDowell Church for the 4th Annual Earn the Bird 5K and Walk4 Water4, a fun, family-friendly morning that helps make a difference.
Participants can choose from a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-Mile Fun Run for kids in 5th grade and younger, or the 1-Mile Walk4 Water4. Proceeds support Water4 and its work to provide clean, safe drinking water to communities in sub-Saharan Africa. All registered participants receive a custom finisher medal and event T-shirt.
McDowell Church is also hosting a food drive leading up to race day benefiting Extended Hands Food Bank in Fountain Hills, AZ. Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring a food donation on race day.
Come run, walk, cheer on the kids and help support two great causes!
This public, interactive community calendar is a reflection of the many communities across our state. While we act as a public square where divergent ideas and perspectives are welcomed, we can only provide a space for civil discourse at events we host. Events on the calendar are provided as informational only and may or may not reflect our commitment to our communities.
