Family Math workshops unlock a brighter future for kids

Do you have an education site that can host a Family Math workshop for children ages 2 to 5 and their families?

Arizona PBS is seeking education sites that serve children ages 2 to 5 and their families. Interested sites should be able to provide classroom, library or cafeteria space for up to 25 families, and certified educator(s) and teaching assistants who work with children.

Learn how to find math everywhere, be a “curiosity guide” for your child or students, talk to your child about the math you do every day (YES! You ARE doing math every day!), and create fun, hands-on learning opportunities for your child or students.

What is Family Math?

This research-based, multiplatform, bilingual program focuses on building math positivity, confidence and knowledge of foundational skills. By equipping parents, educators and caregivers with strategies and resources, learning and teaching math can be simple and fun!
