Cell therapy manufacturing plant planned for the Phoenix area

City of Hope, an independent cancer research and treatment center, and the Translational Genomics Research Institute of Phoenix signed a letter of intent to building a cell therapy manufacturing facility in the Phoenix area. The facility is expected to improve the speed of stem cell research and cancer treatment. Dr. Jeffrey Trent, president and research director of the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and Dr. Joseph Mikhael, a professor of in the Applied Cancer Research and Drug Discover Division at TGen, tell us more about this planned facility.
