Landmark ruling on libel being questioned

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has called for a reconsideration of New York Times versus Sullivan, a landmark 1964 First Amendment ruling that created a higher barrier for public figures who sue for libel. Dan Barr, a partner at Perkins Coie with a specialty in First Amendment cases, talks about Thomas’s questioning of the case.
