We’ll take you to the Bösendorfer and Yamaha USASU International Piano Competition, which took place recently at Arizona State University. The competition is a collaboration between the ASU School of Music, The Phoenix Symphony and the Arizona Young Artist Committee.

The competition was launched by a faculty member in the ASU School of Music, and it has grown to become one of the premiere piano competitions in the world. This year, a total of 280 young pianists from 35 countries applied to the competition, but only 43 were selected to perform in the semifinal and final rounds.
