Raising unemployment benefits

The Grand Canyon Institute is putting out a new policy brief on the need to increase the state’s unemployment insurance benefits. Right now the maximum is $240 a week, putting Arizona ahead of Mississippi by only $5. It’s been the same since 2004. We’ll hear more from Dave Wells, research director for the institute.
