A local non-profit continues to provide families with literacy programs despite the pandemic.

Southwest Human Development’s “Raising A Reader” program is designed to educate parents about the importance of early literacy. The eight-week program provides families with interactive workshops and 12 high-quality children’s books.

Since the pandemic, the program has now moved online.
