Arizona’s economy shows signs of improvement

More from this show

The Office of Economic Opportunity released the March 2021 employment report, showing more than 16,000 jobs added and a decrease in the unemployment rate to 6.7%. One notable highlight: a BIG gain in Leisure and Hospitality jobs, another encouraging sign for Arizona’s continued recovery. The report also provides a picture of Arizona’s economic resilience during the pandemic, and how that’s leading to a faster recovery compared to the rest of the country.
